Wang Guangshun
Wang Guangshun, with the courtesy name Shunzhi, was born in Tangshan, Hebei Province in 1972. He studied under the renowned artist Fuan of Jidong, but later received guidance from Mr. Yang Hong, a native of northern China. In the years that followed, he frequently collaborated with many celebrated calligraphers and painters from Jingdezhen. By seamlessly integrating calligraphy and painting onto porcelain, he has become a member of the Hebei Provincial Calligraphers Association, a research fellow at the China Calligraphy and Painting Talent Research Center, and a Master of Arts and Crafts in Tangshan City.
His calligraphy and painting style strives for simplicity and tranquility, bestowing upon viewers an inner beauty that is warm, elegant, and refreshingly pure—seeking to emulate the profound spiritual realm found in nature. His works have been published in numerous professional journals and periodicals, and he has been selected and awarded prizes in calligraphy and painting competitions at all levels. Currently residing in Jingdezhen, he dedicates himself to ceramic art creation and serves as the chief artist at Jingde Dongming Ceramics. His works are highly favored by connoisseurs of both calligraphy and painting.
